[Somehow he looks more annoyed than usual. This three day thing is a pain.]

[ Hina's a little nervous about the shorter deadline, but she's trying to stay positive. If everyone just works together...!

When she makes her way to the gift shop, she's carrying a bag which she holds out when she sees Ankh. Inside he'll find two warm, fuzzy sweaters with birds on them; a red winter coat; three pairs of socks in various colors; a pair of black winter boots; and a red wool cap. They're not too bad-looking. Trust Hina's fashion sense. ]

Oh yeah, I got this for you yesterday when those winter clothes were on sale. I don't know if you need them with your Branch of Sin, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

[He looks genuinely kind of surprised for a moment before he covers it up with a glare again. He digs around in the bag, and he doesn't have any particular feedback on her choices. This should be considered a compliment.

Then a bit of a smirk comes across his face. That's the best sign of appreciation she was going to get for now. He holds the bag over his shoulder like a delinquent school kid.]

[ She's not sure what to make of that reaction. At least he doesn't seem to hate them...? This isn't how the old Shingo would have reacted, but right now may be too soon to hope for that.

She nods and follows him into the shop. ]

What the hell for? [Oh yeah he has his shitty assignment too.]

And he's momentarily distracted by a leather jacket with one red sleeve and a furry black collar.]

[He doesn't answer right away. He's plainly not happy about the task he's been given. Instead, he heads over to the counter for a candy.]

She pays for her candy and hula hoop. Great, now she has a hula hoop. ]

[He's still poking around. He glances back at her looking something like remorseful for that but he doesn't say anything further.]

Seances? Not really. They're kind of spooky. Why?

I'm supposed to do a seance over a demon summoning circle made out of melted popsicles. For my 30,000. It's so stupid.

[ She blinks in surprise. And then she giggles. ]
