[ He had both hands behind his back, a pouch in one hand a small box in the other. ]

[ For some reason he felt a little embarrassed to say that, so he quickly held forward the pouch as a distraction. ]

[ Yeah, it was candy. Three of them to be exact. ]

[ She opens it up and looks inside. ] Ah-- but I have enough for a whole week, I'm fine.

Then you'll be okay for an extra long time!

[ Maybe convincing her to take them would be harder than he thought. ]

Well, they gave me ten so I'll still have enough left.

[ She makes a face. ]

Well... I'll take them, but if you wind up needing one then I'll give some back, okay?

[ He smiled, looking relieved. ]

I won't need them, so it's fine. Besides, making sure you're safe is the most important thing.
